Create a beautiful holiday tablescape with our easy Thanksgiving table setting cards. Follow simple steps and download the FREE printable in our VIP library.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I’m in full planning mode since we’ll be hosting family and friends again this year.
Our dining area — the table plus a few folding tables — will seat everyone, and I enjoy setting a warm, welcoming table for guests.
For me, a tablescape only feels finished with a small personal touch. Do you add personalization to your table too?
In a recent post we shared three budget-friendly tablescape ideas: Simple Thanksgiving Table Ideas. Today I’m sharing not one, not two, but THREE Thanksgiving table setting card designs you can download and print for free.

How to Make a Traditional Classic Place Card

I’ve gathered lots of inspiration from Pinterest and experimented with different place cards and napkin holders. My classic tented place card was inspired by a project from Honey We’re Home and has a timeless, elegant feel.
These tented cards can be made in any color to coordinate with your tablescape. Here’s a simple version you can make in a few easy steps:

- Download the Thanksgiving Place Card printable from the VIP library.
- Print on light-colored cardstock.
- Write each guest’s name on an individual place card.
- Cut out the printed place card along the provided lines.
- Create a tent card from cardstock in your chosen color (I used shimmer cardstock in fall tones).
- Adhere the printed place card to the tent card with double-stick tape.
- Punch a hole at the top and thread ribbon through to finish the card.
That’s it — a simple, polished place card using our printable template.

How to Make Neutral “Give Thanks” Kraft Tags

These petite grapevine pumpkins with “Give Thanks” Kraft tags were the highlight of the Green Rustic Thanksgiving Table. I printed the tags on Kraft cardstock for a neutral, rustic look, but you can attach them to real mini pumpkins, a small bunch of fall stems, or tie them around napkins or cutlery.
To make these tags you’ll need a tag-shaped paper punch, available at most craft stores.

- Download the Thanksgiving Place Setting Card printable and print on Kraft cardstock.
- Center the “Give Thanks” message in the paper punch and punch out each tag.
- Punch a hole at the top and tie the tag to your pumpkin or chosen item with twine or ribbon.

How to Assemble Thankful Napkin Holders or Place Cards

I adapted a DIY napkin ring idea I found on Pinterest to create a “Thankful” napkin holder using a favorite font. These printables are versatile — use them as napkin rings or as place cards laid on a grapevine wreath or plate.

- Download the Thanksgiving Place Setting Card printable and print on cardstock.
- Cut along the lines provided.
- Punch holes at each end and add ribbon if using as a napkin ring, or simply place the card on the place setting.
