Description
This easy Brownie Bread takes about 35 minutes to bake. Soft, moist and balanced, it’s a perfect Paleo dessert for gatherings or a special treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup raw cacao powder
- 4 large eggs
- 5 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 10″ bread pan with parchment and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all ingredients except the chopped walnuts until smooth. Fold in the walnuts, reserving a few to sprinkle on top.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle the reserved walnuts on top, and bake 30–35 minutes. Cool completely, then refrigerate about 3 hours before slicing for best texture.
